I’ve always been fascinated with sleep. A kind of quasi-death, astral projection, alternate reality experience that all humans (and some of the other animals) share. Sleep fascinates me so much that I wrote an album’s worth of songs about it. Sleepy Land should really be listened to all in one sitting, letting the songs blend into one another and take you on a nocturnal journey.
