Sonic Dreams
When I began recording Moonflower, I bought my first synthesizer and created a unique gothic rock/electronica sound world for the story to inhabit. As I learned how to use the synth, I recorded a bunch of musical “doodles” as experiments to explore the synth’s infinite possibilities. After Moonflower was completed, I realized that the doodles were actually pretty cool on their own. I cleaned them up and fleshed them out, added a few new ones, and it all added up to Sonic Dreams. This is a great album for plugging in the lava lamp, laying back on the bed and floating off to inner space.
